Cleanings, children's visits and the preventive care that keeps your whole family smiling, a short drive up Riverside Avenue.
Riverside families
Most of our Riverside patients come to us as a household rather than as individuals: two parents and two or three children, all seen in one morning. We schedule this way on purpose, because families who visit together tend to keep coming back, and children who see a parent relax in the chair learn to feel at ease themselves.
Much of what we do here is preventive by design. Sealants, fluoride treatments, sports guards, and a hygienist who takes the time to teach good technique may not sound exciting, but they are why the families we see year after year need fewer fillings over time.
When treatment is needed, it happens right here in our office, so your family is never sent elsewhere for a filling or an early orthodontic conversation.

Care Riverside families rely on
Twice-yearly visits with a hygienist who takes the time to explain what she finds in clear, friendly terms.
Short, comfortable first visits and sealants on new molars, designed so children grow up unafraid of the dentist.
Discreet treatment planned around sports and school photos, started before a case becomes more complex.
In-office or custom take-home trays, shade-matched for a bright, natural-looking result.
Tooth-colored repairs completed promptly, so a small issue does not become a bigger one.
Custom-molded guards for hockey, lacrosse and nighttime grinding that stay comfortably in place.

By their first birthday, or within six months of the first tooth coming in. That early visit is mostly a gentle look and a conversation with you, so your child becomes comfortable with the chair long before any real treatment is needed.
Yes, we make custom-molded mouthguards. A boil-and-bite guard from a sporting goods store is better than nothing, but a properly molded guard stays securely in place, which is what protects your child during real contact.
For most back molars, yes. Sealants protect the grooves where a toothbrush cannot easily reach, and they are quick, comfortable, and far less costly than treating the cavity they help prevent.
Many Riverside families schedule with us this way, booking back-to-back cleanings so the whole household is cared for in a single trip. Ask our front desk about a family block and we will build it around your school schedule.
Less often than many parents assume. We take X-rays when there is a specific reason, such as checking for decay between teeth or monitoring how adult teeth are developing, not on a fixed schedule regardless of need.
If the adult teeth have fully come in, clear aligners can work very well, and teenagers often prefer them because they are discreet. If jaw growth is still underway, waiting can sometimes mean a shorter and simpler treatment later. We will let you know what applies to your teenager.
Bring the whole family in for one morning, and you are set for the next six months.
