A toothache, an extraction, or a crown that needs replacing: treated with care, explained plainly, and never a surprise on the bill.
Byram patients
Many people put off the dentist because they are worried about an unexpected cost. We take the opposite approach: we examine your teeth, explain clearly what we find, and provide a written estimate before any treatment begins. If part of the plan can reasonably wait, we will tell you so.
A good deal of the care we provide for Byram patients addresses everyday concerns, from a tooth that has been bothering someone for weeks to an extraction that has been put off, or a filling that came loose. We meet each of these with understanding, not judgment.
Root canals, extractions and crowns are all completed right here in our office rather than referred elsewhere, which helps keep both your wait and your overall cost down.

Completed here with proper anesthetic, helping save a tooth that might otherwise need to be removed.
When a tooth truly cannot be saved, we remove it carefully and explain your replacement options up front.

We provide a clear cost estimate before beginning any extraction, and we explain in advance if it is likely to be more involved and require additional care. If a tooth is already causing pain or swelling, please call us in the morning, since we hold time for exactly this kind of visit.
We can often sequence treatment to make it more manageable, and we are happy to talk through the cost of larger plans. Sharing your budget with us at the consultation helps us plan the right order for your treatment, without changing the quality of care you receive.
Over-the-counter ibuprofen and a cold compress on the outside of the cheek can help in the meantime, and it is best to avoid very hot or cold foods. Never place aspirin directly on the gum, and if swelling is spreading toward the eye or throat, please seek care the same day.
In most cases where a tooth can be saved, yes. Removing a tooth may seem simpler in the moment, but the gap it leaves can shift the surrounding teeth, and replacing it later with a bridge often costs more than the root canal would have.
Someone on our team is usually available to help, and if not, we will take extra time to make sure you understand your treatment and its cost fully before moving forward. Let us know when you call and we will do our best to accommodate you.
We are glad to share the cost of an exam, any necessary X-rays and a routine cleaning over the phone before your visit, so you know what to expect. There are never unexpected charges added at checkout.
Call and tell us what is bothering you. We will explain what it will take to fix it, in plain terms.
